Yes...this horrible epidemic attacked our family for the first time this year! HEAD LICE! Just the mention of the words makes my head itch and my skin crawl. I cannot stand these pesky, hard to get rid of, super contagious pests. Thankfully, I have just been introduced to another product that can make our lives easier as parents in fighting this awful spread...
I received a package (sent to me free of charge from MomSelect & Zippity Doo's) for fighting this cause! We received four different Zippity Doo's products (Shampoo, Conditioner, Styling Gel & Shield Spray) and I love them already! Why? Well, first off, they smell like normal children's hair products...not like pesticides or harmful chemicals. That's because they are made with only natural ingredients (which makes them safe to use all the time on my kids). Secondly, the Shield Spray is perfect for using not only on the hair, but since it's not sticky & does not leave a residue, it can be sprayed on things that can't be washed, like toys, pillows, furniture, etc. AWESOME! Love it! Using these products would be no different (to my kids) than using their typical hair care products...and I feel good knowing that we won't have future outbreaks.
I'm serious, these would definitely be products I would use even as a defense mechanism to prevent any other future outbreaks at the schools. Obviously the little girl's have trouble keeping their hands off my daughter's hair and at least this way...I will feel confident that we won't have to go through the month long process of ridding ourselves of them again.
